Update, 1st of July: From 14th of July, we will conduct an initial evaluation of all responses received up to this date. We appreciate if you still tell us about your experiences afterwards. We will read these responses at a later date.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read our questionnaire and for considering sharing your personal experiences with us. Your voice matters and helps us understand how Swiss universities respond to situations involving abuse of power.
At Swiss universities, there are recurring situations in which individuals misuse their positions—such as through emotional manipulation, intimidation or threats, exploitation of dependency relationships, or sexual harassment.
Our goal is to document how widespread abuse of power is at Swiss universities, to better understand why it occurs, and to critically examine how universities address it.
To do this, we rely on personal accounts from those directly affected. That is why we are conducting this survey.
Who can take part
Have you personally experienced situations involving abuse of power by someone employed at a Swiss university? Did you seek support from a university office, or consciously choose not to? Then share your personal account with us in this survey – securely and confidentially.
This questionnaire is open to current and former employees and students at Swiss universities.
The questionnaire invites you to describe specific incidents. You may find it helpful to complete it together with someone you trust. Please take good care of yourself.
Anonymity and privacy
You can answer the questions without revealing your identity. If you wish, you can voluntarily share your contact information at the end of the questionnaire, allowing us to follow up with you and inform you about the results of our investigation.
Your personal details will remain strictly confidential and will under no circumstances be passed on to third parties. Protecting your privacy is our highest priority. The site of the survey does not track user data, nor does it use cookies or analytical tools.
